Wheel thrown using porcelain clay and decorated with three bees. Glazed with a slightly glossy matte white interior and a matte lavender exterior.
Measures 9.75" in diameter at the rim and 3" tall.
I formulated this lavender glaze using a rare earth colorant, neodymium, which has a subtle dichroic effect. It can appear pinkish lavender, bluish lavender or grayish depending which light source you are near.
Fired to cone ten. Hand washing recommended.
